Information Collected on the Internet
If you are just browsing through our website, we do not request any personally identifiable Customer Information, nor do we collect unique identifying information about you unless you voluntarily and knowingly provide us that information, such as when you send us an email or complete an application online. If you provide us this information, it is only used internally and for the purpose for which it was provided.
As part of providing online financial products or services, we may obtain information about our customers and website visitors from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications, emails, or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with this Institution;
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency; and
- Information that is generated electronically when you visit our website or use our online financial services.
Cookies are a very small text file sent by a web server and stored on your hard drive, your computer’s memory, or in your browser to facilitate navigation through our website, enhance your online experience, authenticate your computer, and establish and maintain a secure session. For certain applications, such as online banking, cookies are required to help protect the privacy of your transactions. We do not store confidential or sensitive information in cookies.
Regular non-encrypted Internet e-mail is not secure; Internet Service Providers or others could monitor your e-mails. It is important that you do not send personal information in any Internet e-mail correspondence with us, such as account numbers, social security numbers, passwords or pin numbers, or any other non-public personal information. For your security, we do not accept instructions for the operation of your accounts by Internet e-mail.
We maintain electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations and industry best practices to guard your nonpublic personal information. The security measures on our hosted website include 128 bit encryption, industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls. We continually assess and update our systems to improve our technology to protect your information.
Internet Banking Security
Access to our online banking system is protected by individual Access ID and Passcodes. Our online banking system uses a "3 strikes and you're out" lock-out mechanism to deter users from repeated login attempts. After three unsuccessful login attempts, the system locks the user out, requiring a phone call to the Bank to reset your entry into the system.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
This website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not market to children, nor do we knowingly collect or retain personally identifiable information from children.
